Answers to our most frequently asked questions.
Q: Do you fix phones?
A: We appreciate your inquiry, but unfortunately, our expertise lies exclusively in computer technology, and we do not offer repair services for cell phones.
Q: What is your diagnostic fee?
A: Our diagnostic fee is $25, which is payable upfront and is non-refundable. This fee will be credited toward any subsequent repair estimates, so it effectively reduces the cost of repairs if you decide to proceed.
Q: Do you buy computers?
A: Yes, we are interested in purchasing used computers. However, if the computer is too outdated or beyond repair, we will gladly recycle it for you. However, printers, CRTs, and large-screen TVs are not accepted.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located on the southeast corner of 5 Mile Road and Middlebelt Road.
Q: Do you sell computers?
A: Yes, we do offer refurbished computers for sale, including both desktop and laptop models. The computers we sell are typically designed for general use, such as home, office, or educational purposes, and are not optimized for demanding tasks like high-end gaming. Most of the computers we sell have Windows 10 or 11 installed, but for special purposes like compatibility with legacy hardware and retro gaming, we also have vintage computers with Windows 98, XP, Vista, or 7. We also sell peripherals and accessories, such as monitors, keyboards, mice, and adapters/cables.
Q: How long have you been here?
A: We have been in operation since March 2016.
Q: Are you a pawn shop?
A: No, our business is not and has never been a pawn shop. While there was indeed a pawn shop located adjacent to our premises, it closed its doors in 2022. We understand that some platforms, such as Apple Maps, still incorrectly list that pawn shop as being active. We appreciate your understanding and are working to rectify these inaccuracies.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept a variety of payment methods, including cash, checks, and both credit and debit cards. We also support NFC payments, such as Apple Pay. Please be aware that there is a 4% surcharge applied to all card and NFC transactions.
